To make Toronto a more competitive jurisdiction in North America for re-investment and investment in manufacturing and job creation. Issues lobbied include land use, water, transportation, energy, etc.

Discussion around potential road closures to help facilitate the staging of sports and physical activity related events that are forecast to bring substantional economic development and/or unique programming opportunities to Toronto.

Meetings, submissions and correspondence with staff from Economic Development and Culture relating to proposed legislative changes to ED30.6: Re-designing the Vacant Commercial and Industrial Tax Relief Program to Stimulate Economic Growth.

Advocating for the continuation of the development charge exemptions on commercial properties and working with staff on potential further amendments to the DC bylaw as applied to commercial property types.
