Transit City and Smart Track

Policy regarding the City's Tower Renewal Project - ways the building and development industry can become more involved/ items that we would like to see included (ie. incentives) to make the project more palpable.

User Fee Policy and Core Service Review (two processes that city staff are currently undergoing) specifically as they relate to policies, procedures and fees for planning and development related matters.

DEVELOPMENT PERMITS - The Development Permit system is an area-based planning method that is an alternative approach to site-specific rezoning approvals process. The City of Toronto is considering developing such an approach through City Planning.

BUILDING CODE RELATED - changes to the Ontario Building Code will take effect in January 2015 which will result in discussions around implementation and City policies to reflect these changes around 6-storey wood construction and accessibility standards.

The Ontario Municipal Board/ Local Appeal Bodies for the City of Toronto. City Council is currently debating the merits to "eliminating the Ontario Municipal Board" for the City of Toronto and creating Local Appeal Bodies to hear appeals on applications
