Discussions with the City of Toronto - Water Division regarding Groundwater Discharge including both 1. Transition Provision and 2. Long-Term Policy Solution.

Discussions with City staff regarding mid-rise buildings, including wood-frame construction, safety provisions and performance standards.

RESCON is working with stakeholders to address mental health and addictions in construction - including raising awareness, requesting better data and implementing/improving policies and existing mitigation programs (health and safety training, first aid).

Speaking with City officials about anti-racism work that industry is undertaking in response to the nooses that have been found on sites over the summer.

RESCON is working to eliminate barriers to entering the trades, creating pathways for young and new Canadians to enter the trades, especially the elevator trades. This would help ensure that there are enough tradespeople to address often occurring elevator

Discussions with City of Toronto on the Community Benefits Framework that is being developed. The purpose of the CBF is to maximize the social and economic impacts of community benefits initiatives at the City of Toronto.

The Residential Construction Council of Ontario (RESCON) will be discussing proposed lane-way restrictions for construction projects with City Officals.
